Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the lending product agenda for WBG Lending investment and traditional corporate lending, translating priorities into roadmap, delivery plan, and measurable commercial outcomes.
  • •Design target-state lending workflows and SOPs across Coverage, Product, Credit, Legal, Operations, and other functions; establish governance routines for performance, pipeline health, and exceptions.
  • •Identify and prioritize system and data enhancements for lending workflows, prepare requirements/user stories, and lead UAT, rollout, adoption tracking, and post-implementation reviews.
  • •Work with Coverage, Credit, Treasury, and Finance on pricing frameworks and monitor revenue, margins, fees, utilization, and profitability; recommend corrective actions and develop business cases.
  • •Ensure lending frameworks and process changes align with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and control/audit requirements; influence stakeholders to improve client experience across the lending lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering or related; Master’s/MBA/professional qualification preferred.
  • •10–15 years of relevant banking experience with meaningful exposure to corporate lending, working capital finance, structured lending, credit, or lending product management.
  • •At least 5 years in a senior product, portfolio, business management, credit structuring, transformation, or process ownership role within wholesale/corporate banking.
  • •Demonstrated track record building or scaling lending products/propositions, creating business cases, delivering revenue growth, and improving process controls.
  • •Experience designing SOPs, governance frameworks, MIS dashboards, workflow changes, and operational controls for lending/working-capital products.
