Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely and promote the Pick-n-Pull Safety Culture by adhering to safety requirements and using assigned PPE correctly.
  • •Safely remove and extract fluids, components, batteries, and other materials (including Freon and automotive fluids) in accordance with prescribed procedures.
  • •Position vehicles on wheel stands for customer access, remove vehicles upon completion, and restore the surrounding area for the next vehicle set.
  • •Dismantle engines and transmissions, harvest cores and wire, sort commodity materials, and operate the tire machine to prepare rims for shipment.
  • •Assist customers professionally and prepare shipments (Gaylord boxes and pallets), complete regulatory/tracking logs, and maintain stormwater control devices and mechanical equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including understanding basic safety messages, labels, and hazard communications for materials such as waste oil and gasoline.
  • •Ability to work required hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • •Ability to work effectively in outdoor weather conditions (rain, snow, extreme heat, and cold) for the duration of a full shift.
  • •All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
