Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, program, implement, and maintain advanced PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems across the facility while driving standardization across diverse equipment sets.
  • •Manage facility OT networks in collaboration with corporate IT to maintain industrial cybersecurity adherence and data integrity.
  • •Lead capital projects, equipment installation, technology upgrades, and equipment migrations, supporting divisional strategic capital plans.
  • •Provide high-level troubleshooting, root-cause problem solving, and long-term engineered solutions for complex controls, drive, or network issues for the maintenance team.
  • •Identify safety issues, implement effective solutions, maintain electrical documentation via AutoCAD, and train maintenance and operations personnel on new systems and machine adjustments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–5+ years of controls, automation, or electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including 2+ years of capital project management.
  • •Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, AutomationDirect, ABB, and Lenze, including drive configuration (Allen Bradley Powerflex and Siemens).
  • •Experience with HMI/SCADA (Aveva/Wonderware) and Safety PLCs/circuits.
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design and working knowledge of Electrical Codes (NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, IEEE 3000) and PLC standards (IEC 61131-3: LD, FBD, ST, SFC).
  • •Practical understanding of OT networking and MS Windows server environments, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
