Job Summary

Build and maintain firmware for upper-limb prostheses and prosthesis-manufacturing tools, ensuring robust, efficient, and compliant solutions. Lead requirements analysis, solution design, and task decomposition for new embedded features, including PoCs and deep bug investigations. Collaborate with the FW team in a Scrum-like process (code reviews) and coordinate with hardware, manufacturing, mobile, and QA to deliver integrated, optimized systems. Support documentation and contribute to scalable embedded architecture improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop firmware for upper-limb prostheses and related products, including PoCs for new features/products and investigation/fixes for complex bugs.
•Develop firmware for tools used in prosthesis manufacturing.
•Perform requirements analysis, solution design, and task decomposition for new embedded features/products.
•Collaborate within the FW team using Scrum-like methodology and conduct code reviews.
•Coordinate with hardware, manufacturing, mobile application, QA, and other teams to deliver integrated, optimized embedded solutions; contribute to architecture improvements and provide documentation support.

Key Requirements

•Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded firmware development.
•Experience with bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware, low-level device driver implementations, and CLI build environments (Shell/Bash, Make, CMake).
•Familiarity with MCU/CPU peripherals and embedded software fundamentals (interrupts, booting, multithreading, multiprocessing).
•Experience with BLE-based solutions and strong system-level debugging skills.
•Ability to read and review schematic diagrams, with experience using electronics prototyping tools and Git; written/spoken English at least B2.
