Job Summary

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pump, power, and HVAC equipment at an onsite Advanced Solutions facility. Use work-order technology to create and monitor jobs, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose root causes by pulling data from multiple equipment makes/models. Troubleshoot failures at the shop and on customer locations, document work daily, and assist with training lower-level technicians.

Key Responsibilities

•Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
•Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
•Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
•Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairs.
•Maintain daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed; assist with pick-up and delivery and training as needed.

Key Requirements

•Must own tools applicable to the position.
•Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
•Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
•Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, plus reading and knowing schematics.
•EPA 608 certification preferred; if not held, ability to obtain within 6-12 months of employment.
