Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete supplier request for quotations (RFQs) and support supplier profile preparation for management.
  • •Perform part analytics to ensure parts are assigned to the proper commodity family.
  • •Support Supplier Account Managers with supplier management activities, quarterly business reviews, and capacity reviews.
  • •Perform buyer functions in MRP, including creating, re-scheduling, and cancelling POs; expedite materials by updating suppliers.
  • •Resolve PO invoice and receipt discrepancies, find alternate/emergency sources, and mitigate excess POs and inventory through supplier negotiations.

Key Requirements

  • •Student must be pursuing a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related major.
  • •Student must be in good academic standing at their university (preferred GPA of 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale).

  • •Strong communication skills (listening, writing, quantitative/qualitative and oral communication).
  • •Data analytics skills, such as advanced Excel and working with multiple data sets.
