Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform quality control on incoming and outgoing video/audio feeds, including setting correct levels for live reporter hits.
  • •Ingest file-based and baseband content into newsroom production systems from router sources and systems.
  • •Transcode media with provided tools, ensure newsroom compatibility, and troubleshoot/route feeds during live or time-sensitive events.
  • •Maintain oversight of digital media on shared servers, including metadata tagging, naming conventions, file integrity, and storage maintenance/purging.
  • •Provide first-tier newsroom systems support, including basic editing support in Adobe Premiere and training for newsroom users on system usage and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in post-production workflows, including media acquisition, management, and playback.
  • •Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • •Working knowledge of basic computer networking, Microsoft Remote Desktop, and general IT systems.
  • •Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization and be 18 years or older.
  • •Must be willing to work onsite full-time just south of DFW airport with a flexible schedule (early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
