The Security Engineer will join KKR’s Information Security team in New York or Boston, focusing on network, email, endpoint, vulnerability, and cloud security. Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC
•Analyze network traffic for potential security threats and vulnerabilities
•Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and standards
•Configure and manage secure email gateways to protect against phishing, spam, malware, and other email-based threats
•Deploy and manage endpoint security solutions (antivirus, antimalware, EDR, DLP) and ensure patch compliance

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 125,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience developing, and building solutions with expertise across network, email, endpoint and cloud security
•Experience in financial systems, cloud (AWS/Azure), or AI security is highly valued
•Strong understanding of LAN/WAN IP-based networks (TCP/IP, routing/switching, VLANs, NAT, DNS, DHCP)
•Knowledge of cryptography (SSL/TLS, PKI, encryption) and security principles (Zero Trust, defense-in-depth)
•Ability to code, script and automate to improve team efficiency
