Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee daily operations for solid waste collection, segregation, storage, transportation, and disposal.
  • •Manage STP operations across biological, chemical, and mechanical processes, ensuring uninterrupted performance of pumps, aeration systems, clarifiers, and sludge handling.
  • •Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans, including reliability of mechanical, electrical, and control components and coordination of emergency repairs and upgrades.
  • •Ensure environmental and regulatory compliance, maintaining documentation and coordinating with regulatory authorities during inspections.
  • •Lead O&M staff and contractors, conduct training and competency development, prepare manpower and shift schedules, and manage O&M budgets, KPIs, and cost control.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • •10+ years of experience in waste management and sewage treatment operations.
  • •At least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • •Experience with utilities, industrial plants, municipalities, or large facilities.
  • •Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes (e.g., activated sludge, MBR, SBR) and environmental compliance standards.
