Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Technical Delivery: Design highways and drainage systems using OpenRoads, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, and more
  • •Field Engagement: Participate in site visits to assess and document existing conditions
  • •Design & Analysis: Prepare alignments, geometrics, cost estimates, quantity calculations, technical reports, and memos
  • •Collaborate Across Disciplines: Coordinate design inputs from multiple teams for seamless project execution
  • •Project Planning: Develop level-of-effort estimates, contribute to design schedules, and assist with construction timelines

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor's)
  • •5–10 years of highway/roadway design experience (MTO projects preferred)
  • •P.Eng or Certified Engineering Technician/Technologist designation is an asset
  • •Experience with Design-Build/P3 projects is an asset
  • •Knowledge of Ontario environmental standards, guidelines and design manuals
