Job Summary

Develop and manage color masterbatch product and application development projects for packaging, electronic appliances, consumer, agriculture, and industrial uses. Drive HSE performance, support business growth through new or modified formulations and processes, and collaborate on global technology development for commercialization in China. Prepare technical presentations and product literature, manage quality specification plans and scale-up support, advise procurement on raw materials, and provide technical training and support for customers and manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive GoalZERO HSE performance and behaviors aligned with corporate standards.
•Support color masterbatch business growth by developing new or modified differentiated products, applications, or processes to meet market/customer objectives and improve performance.
•Manage collaboration on development and/or importation of global technologies to achieve commercialization and sales in the China market.
•Design and manage color masterbatch development projects, deliver application development technical outputs, and help resolve customer complaints.
•Develop product formulation and quality specification control plans, advise preferred production methods, support scale-up at manufacturing sites, and act as a technical consultant for product/process issues.

Key Requirements

•At least 5 years of experience in the color masterbatch or color compounding industry.
•Good color matching skills and mandatory polymer formulation knowledge (polymer testing know-how is a plus).
•Familiarity with colorants in plastic for packaging, E&E, and transportation.
•Familiarity with plastic processes including injection molding, blow and cast film, and fiber.
•Ability to read and interpret documents and communicate effectively with China customers; self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure.
