Job Summary

Lead transportation infrastructure construction projects for the Construction Management team in Chicago, overseeing concurrent work from small renovations through large facilities. Manage site management, coordination, and planning for subcontractors and developers, ensuring quality standards, deadlines, and contractor deliverables are met. Handle contract administration activities from pre-construction through closeout, provide regular status reporting, review schedules and change orders, and chair stakeholder meetings with minutes and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, from small renovations to large-scale new facilities.
•Provide overall site management, coordination, and planning for subcontractors and developers.
•Verify quality standards and project deadlines are met, and drive contractor deliverables to completion.
•Perform construction contract administration, including pay requisitions, change orders, and documentation from pre-construction through closeout.
•Chair site meetings and prepare meeting minutes; provide regular status reports and review contractor schedules and baseline updates in coordination with client requirements.

Key Requirements

•B.S. degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or an MBA, or equivalent experience.
•Minimum 12 years of experience in construction project management.
•Experience with Illinois Tollway, Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), and Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT).
•OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain.
•Excellent English language skills, written and verbal.
