Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate the physical movement of vehicles through the sales lane to the block and parking following auction.
  • •Assign and oversee drivers, jump start/battery operators, and push truck operators to maintain smooth traffic flow.
  • •Conduct vehicle inspections and pre-sale/pre-sale walk activities to ensure vehicles are in assigned lanes as scheduled.
  • •Identify and address missing vehicles, overflow areas, inoperable vehicles, and other lane issues; maintain the run list.
  • •Oversee parking and re-parking of sold/non-sold vehicles and report theft, lot damage, or safety concerns.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination (including 5 years’ related experience).
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
  • •Basic mechanical knowledge to identify issues such as flat tires, low gas, and jump-starting needs.
  • •Ability to stand for prolonged periods and walk long distances; ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
  • •Preferred: 6 months of auction or driving experience and knowledge of lot operations/lot layout.
