Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead ideation and development of next-generation bakery enzyme technologies that drive future business growth.
  • •Design and optimize enzyme systems through hands-on characterization, activity and stability assessment, formulation development, functionality evaluation, and determination of mode of action and kinetic properties.
  • •Generate and oversee analytical data packages supporting technical value propositions for current and future technologies, including development of new analytical techniques.
  • •Analyze complex datasets, interpret experimental results, and deliver evidence-based technical reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Collaborate with global product line, R&D, IP, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams to translate scientific insights into practical, scalable customer solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Food Science, or related field; PhD preferable but not essential.
  • •Significant R&D experience in Biotechnology or Food Science.
  • •Deep expertise in Bakery enzymes, including market knowledge, how they work, and mode of action.
  • •Experience in enzyme characterisation, including enzyme assays, analytical methodologies, and interpretation of results.
  • •Ability to work cross-functionally with global application teams and coordinate multiple projects to deliver timely, high-quality results.
