Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the Engineering team on continuous improvements in the production area.
  • •Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems on machines.
  • •Provide technical leadership in high-priority breakdowns and stay cognizant of assigned machine work/performance.
  • •Direct the Maintenance Journeyman or Maintenance Apprentice in absence of GL and assist GL with disciplinary matters when needed.
  • •Assume control of machines when a situation has potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration, and help maintain a safe, healthy work environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Exceptional electrical and PLC skills with knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • •Excellent troubleshooting and the ability to accept responsibility for work performed.
  • •Able to work independently and with others.
  • •Journeyman papers or an equivalent technical degree preferred; high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • •Ability to work at heights (with or without fall protection) and meet physical/hearing/vision requirements for safely performing the role.
