Job Summary

Lead the delivery of complex mechanical infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia, focusing on gas systems (LPG, SNG, natural gas networks), district cooling/chilled water networks, pump stations, and utility infrastructure. Provide technical leadership across calculations, specifications, reports, drawings, and procurement support, develop feasibility studies and cooling/gas supply strategies, and ensure authority approvals and high-quality QA/QC in line with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and delivery of mechanical infrastructure projects for gas systems, district cooling/chilled water networks, and utility pump stations.
•Provide technical leadership for engineering calculations, specifications, reports, drawings, and procurement support.
•Develop feasibility studies and engineering assessments for district cooling strategies, including decentralized and district cooling options.
•Evaluate and recommend gas supply solutions (LPG, Natural Gas, SNG) and design gas storage facilities, gas farms, PPRS/SPRS, and distribution networks.
•Manage multidisciplinary coordination, authority approvals, contractor document review, and QA/QC to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and project requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
•Minimum 10–15 years of post-graduate experience in mechanical infrastructure engineering.
•Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer, or actively working toward a recognized professional accreditation.
•Proven experience designing and delivering LPG, Natural Gas (NG), and Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG) systems, including gas pressure regulating stations (PPRS/SPRS) and gas distribution networks.
•Proficiency in hydraulic modelling software (e.g., Bentley WaterGEMS, SISHYD/GasWorks, FLUIDIT) and strong knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SBC, NFPA, IGEM, Civil Defense, Ministry of Energy).
