Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver CRE course content effectively using K12 curriculum and state/common core/industry-specific learning standards in an online environment.
  • •Support students and parents with placement, online school setup, and curriculum/instructional issues; provide regular contact via email or phone.
  • •Monitor and record student academic progress in the learning management system, generate formal reports, and alert administrators of concerns about progress and attendance.
  • •Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities, including preparing students for state assessments and administering state assessments (and serving as proctor as needed).
  • •Plan community activities such as orientations, trainings, newsletters/website updates, and participate in staff meetings and weekly teacher conference calls.
Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 49,000

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of successful teacher experience within the virtual setting (or equivalent education/experience combination).
  • •State certified teacher and/or alternatively certified CTE teacher for CRE instruction.
  • •Ability to clear required background checks.
  • •Strong content and subject-matter knowledge, plus the ability to support and guide both adults and students.
  • •Proficiency with K12 online systems (including knowledge of databases utilized by K12) and Microsoft Office 365.
