Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide services and activities for eligible families, including information/referrals, parenting programs, respite care, and supervised play.
  • •Protect client privacy and confidentiality and provide effective, timely services to families assessed as at risk.
  • •Identify and report suspected child abuse and neglect and domestic abuse.
  • •Assess developmental milestones and indicators of special needs or developmental delays, and support adaptation to parenthood.
  • •Maintain tracking of case status and participate in monthly conference calls and annual training events.

Key Requirements

  • •At least two (2) years of direct work experience in child abuse or domestic abuse, or maternal/child health, or medical social work.
  • •Hold a current and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, or RN (with corresponding education for independent practice).
  • •Registered Nurses must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing, an unrestricted license in a state or U.S. territory, and two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • •Must have home visitation experience.
  • •Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and working knowledge of basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
