Job Summary

Drive plant-level continuous improvement across Diamond’s Environmental Operations and Energy Business assets in Texas City. You’ll partner with operations, maintenance, and technology experts to execute a Plant Specific Technology Plan, improve process safety and production efficiency, and lead root cause investigation and “next unplanned event” exercises. This onsite role supports EH&S goals and facility performance indicators while aligning improvement work to the PSTP and capital plan.

Key Responsibilities

•Apply process technology and continuous improvement skills to establish credibility with operations teams.
•Develop and implement a Plant Specific Technology Plan to deliver year-over-year ROC and non-capital continuous improvement while meeting plant EH&S goals.
•Champion process safety activities and support process safety concerns; identify and track performance indicators tied to technology gaps and improvement opportunities.
•Support root cause investigation for incidents related to process technology and lead/support facility continuous improvement aligned to the PSTP and capital plan.
•Lead continuous improvement activities for the facility, including acting as a project manager or manufacturing representative in specific GPM-related roles, and run the “next unplanned event” exercise with solutions captured in the prioritization system.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a STEM field.
•3+ years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, or related fields.
