Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform financial service functions, including opening, closing, and maintaining checking, savings, time deposit, and IRA accounts, plus assisting with safe deposit boxes and related services.
  • •Resolve client questions and requests by listening, collecting data, and securing accurate answers while maintaining customer privacy.
  • •Process new client accounts and perform account maintenance (e.g., name/address/product changes) and complete required reports and records accurately.
  • •Identify sales and referral opportunities by profiling clients and using lead lists to cross-sell bank products, including debit and credit card-related activities and basic consumer loans.
  • •Support banking center operations and coordination, including assisting on the teller line when applicable, attending training classes, and overseeing year-end reporting/special projects at the banking center level.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Zero up to 3 years of New Account experience.
  • •Complete Personal Banker Mentor Program or Personal Banker Learning Plan (and Teller Learning Plan if applicable).
  • •Training knowledge including secure code/caller identification process and BPM Training (I–IV).
  • •Ability to communicate professionally and handle basic math and bookkeeping with proficiency using related computer applications (including 10-key and telephone).
