Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and iterate data models and schemas, building ETL/ELT pipelines to process large volumes of data reliably.
  • •Implement and maintain scalable data architectures and pipeline orchestration (scheduling, dependencies, retries) using cloud technologies.
  • •Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • •Collaborate with analytic engineers, analysts, data scientists/AI-ML engineers, and business teams to deliver data solutions based on requirements.
  • •Stay current with emerging data technologies and propose improvements, while maintaining technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • •Design and maintain data models (dimensional, normalised, or wide-table approaches) and analytics/product schema design.
  • •Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and ingesting data from internal or third-party sources using tools like Apache Airflow.
  • •Experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, CloudSQL, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) or equivalent AWS/Azure services.
  • •Proficiency in Python (or another data engineering language) and experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
