Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the Procurement representative for Product Category and Joint Development Model projects within New Product Development.
•Act as the PIC (person in charge) and manage relationships with Dyson and assigned suppliers for allocated categories and projects.
•Drive cost improvements with suppliers on finished goods and components through negotiation and value engineering.
•Plan, manage, and lead regular and ad-hoc meetings with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Engineering, Project and Technical teams to meet Dyson’s objectives.
•Translate sourcing strategy into actionable plans and provide guidance to internal and external parties to achieve Dyson’s commercial objectives.

Key Requirements

•At least 10 years of experience in the procurement function.
•Knowledge and experience in Electronics or Home Appliance industry; familiar with electrical and mechanical components and suppliers.
•Skilled in Design-for-Excellence (DFX), Value Analysis and Value Engineering methodologies.
•Strong background in a Manufacturing/Engineering environment, preferably with lean methodologies.
•Experience dealing with ODM/Joint Development Model sourcing models and understanding Global procurement regulations.
