Job Summary

Mechanical Principal Engineer to lead hardware design activities for interface test adapters, test fixtures, and 19-inch rack systems. Will guide cross-functional teams in mechanical architecture, perform GD&T and tolerance analyses, and ensure design for manufacturability, testability, and environmental robustness across multidisciplinary programs in aerospace/defense hardware.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Electronics, Industrialization, Manufacturing, Project management, Quality) to design and realize the product.
•Understand customer needs and formalize the mechanical design requirements of the product/system.
•Detail mechanical hardware components/sub-systems requirements and define the mechanical architecture compliant with requirements.
•Support estimation and planning of mechanical activities and ensure compliance with design processes.
•Define mechanical architecture of PCB/PCBA, harness routing, 3D CAD design, and manufacturing drawings.

•Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in design verification and milestone reviews (PDR/CDR)
