Job Summary

Ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations for Slovakia. Lead Slovak payroll processing, act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and external payroll vendors, and perform payroll audits and reconciliations. Interpret and apply Slovak payroll policies and legislation, manage payroll calendars, and support system integrations (HCM, Time & Attendance, and SAP GlobalView). Lead year-end activities, documentation, and audit readiness, while driving continuous process improvements using technology and automation.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage Slovak payroll operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and local legislation.
•Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external payroll vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing.
•Perform payroll data audits and reconcile results to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
•Interpret and apply payroll policies and legislation, including statutory deductions, contributions, and employee benefits; support ongoing compliance with regulatory changes.
•Lead year-end payroll activities and drive continuous improvement through process optimization, documentation, audit support (including SOX), and system integrations (HCM, Time & Attendance, SAP GlobalView).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 2,100 monthly

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in finance or HR with strong knowledge of SAP GlobalView (HR/Payroll module).
•Advanced Excel skills to analyze, reconcile, and interpret complex payroll data, plus deep knowledge of Slovak payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
•Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, controls, and compliance standards.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills for engaging stakeholders and external vendors.
•Ability to lead process improvements and drive innovation using technology and automation (including AI-driven solutions), with experience in payroll project participation or leadership (e.g., year-end and system/process changes).
