Key Responsibilities

  • •Own usage metering expertise, revenue-impacting behavior, and Cloud Cost Management within Technical Solutions to help customers optimize usage and control spend across products.
  • •Lead escalations for unexpected usage, missing metering data, usage spikes, billing anomalies, unclear attribution, and limits enforcement (quotas, plans, exclusions, overages).
  • •Partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance to escalate bugs, align on expected behavior, and improve usage visibility and billing transparency.
  • •Create internal guides, tooling, diagnostics, and playbooks (and customer-facing content) to handle billing- and revenue-related questions and cost forecasting/monitoring.
  • •Enable the global Solutions team through training sessions and scalable resources, and surface customer feedback and patterns to influence the roadmap.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong understanding of how usage is measured, attributed, and billed, including limits, overages, metering discrepancies, plan entitlements, and contract constraints.
  • •Experience analyzing cloud cost drivers and spend, with familiarity with cloud billing models across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • •Comfort investigating data retention, high-cardinality signals, metric volume, log ingestion, and translating telemetry volume into cost impact.
  • •Familiarity with APIs, product usage metrics, tagging strategies, and account-level configurations (including multi-org setups).
  • •Ability to communicate usage and cost impact clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders while working through ambiguous data anomalies.
