Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of multiple concurrent transmission line and substation projects.
  • •Provide senior-level oversight for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, procurement, construction readiness, commissioning, and closeout.
  • •Serve as primary accountability for project delivery by identifying issues, driving decisions, escalating risks, and ensuring alignment with client expectations and WSP standards.
  • •Develop and communicate integrated project schedules, cost forecasts, performance metrics, and executive-level reporting.
  • •Manage project financial performance (budgeting, forecasting, earned value analysis, change management, invoice review, cost control, and margin protection).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field in the Power & Energy market (or equivalent education and relevant experience).
  • •10+ years of post-education experience with significant project management responsibility in Power Delivery, transmission, substation, utility, or related infrastructure.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading medium to large, complex transmission line and/or substation projects for electric utility clients (e.g., investor-owned utilities, cooperatives, municipal utilities, independent power producers).
  • •Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects or a portfolio with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, client satisfaction, and overall delivery performance.
  • •Advanced understanding of utility project delivery and project controls (CPM schedule management, earned value/cost forecasting, change and risk management, invoice review, and financial performance tracking).
