Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of multiple transmission line and substation projects, owning scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, and client satisfaction. Provide senior oversight across the full project lifecycle—from proposal development and startup through reporting and closeout—while developing client relationships and strengthening project governance. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage project controls, earned value, change management, and audit-ready documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of multiple concurrent transmission line and substation projects.
•Provide senior-level oversight for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, procurement, construction readiness, commissioning, and closeout.
•Serve as primary accountability for project delivery by identifying issues, driving decisions, escalating risks, and ensuring alignment with client expectations and WSP standards.
•Develop and communicate integrated project schedules, cost forecasts, performance metrics, and executive-level reporting.
•Manage project financial performance (budgeting, forecasting, earned value analysis, change management, invoice review, cost control, and margin protection).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field in the Power & Energy market (or equivalent education and relevant experience).
•10+ years of post-education experience with significant project management responsibility in Power Delivery, transmission, substation, utility, or related infrastructure.
•Demonstrated experience leading medium to large, complex transmission line and/or substation projects for electric utility clients (e.g., investor-owned utilities, cooperatives, municipal utilities, independent power producers).
•Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects or a portfolio with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, client satisfaction, and overall delivery performance.
•Advanced understanding of utility project delivery and project controls (CPM schedule management, earned value/cost forecasting, change and risk management, invoice review, and financial performance tracking).
