Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the IT organization: strategy, roadmap, budget, and vendor landscape across internal IT, and escalation/standard-setting for two IT teams.
  • •Own and continuously rationalise business-critical SaaS systems and build reliable, API-driven workflows and data synchronization across platforms.
  • •Champion a code-first automation culture (scripts, internal services, event-driven pipelines via APIs/webhooks, internal CLI tools, ChatOps) and evolve the IT Golden Path for onboarding/offboarding and self-service.
  • •Own internal AI tooling end to end: tool evaluation/procurement, seat and usage governance, guardrails, administration, and adoption measurement with measurable productivity impact.
  • •Deliver person-first IT service management with root-cause analysis and maintain identity/security backbone (SSO/SAML/SCIM, MDM, access audits) while partnering for compliance readiness (ISO 27001).

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in IT engineering, business systems engineering, or internal platform engineering at SaaS/tech companies, including 3+ years leading a team owning internal business systems and automation.
  • •Hands-on engineering background to read/review and (when needed) write automation code in Python or a comparable language, and familiarity with APIs, webhooks, OAuth flows, and integrations.
  • •Proven ownership of a modern SaaS business application landscape (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot, billing/finance, HR platforms, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, GitHub, Notion) with cross-system integration and data synchronization at scale.
  • •Demonstrated delivery of AI tooling into an organization, including LLM-based assistants, knowledge retrieval, AI-assisted support, or agentic workflow automation plus governance of cost/usage/guardrails.
  • •Deep identity and security experience (SSO/SAML/SCIM, identity lifecycle automation, MDM such as JumpCloud, Zero Trust) and experience with security/compliance audits (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR).
