Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain core ML platform services including model serving infrastructure, training pipelines, and experiment tracking.
  • •Evolve the platform from individual service offerings into a coherent, user-driven product.
  • •Improve scalability, reliability, and operability with pragmatic trade-offs around cost, complexity, and user needs.
  • •Enhance observability and monitoring across the model lifecycle to surface health and performance.
  • •Collaborate with data scientists on workflows and pain points, participate in on-call/support rotation, and help drive roadmap and design/code review standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong engineering background in mainstream languages like Java or Python (preferably Python) with experience building and maintaining production systems.
  • •Experience with platform or infrastructure engineering, including building or contributing to internal developer platforms or self-service tooling.
  • •Experience with Kubernetes: deploying, managing, and troubleshooting containerised workloads.
  • •Experience with cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS) including compute, storage, and networking.
  • •Strong understanding of distributed systems principles and observability/monitoring (dashboards, alerts, and tools for system health).
