Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead structural design delivery of complex reinforced concrete water infrastructure projects and act as technical authority for structural engineering decisions.
  • •Oversee design outputs to ensure quality, compliance, and technical excellence across multidisciplinary teams.
  • •Manage structural design packages from concept through detailed design and construction support, ensuring safe delivery within programme and commercial constraints.
  • •Lead coordination with civil, mechanical, process, and geotechnical disciplines and support project directors and programme managers in client delivery activities.
  • •Mentor and develop Senior and Principal Engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and help grow the water business in Scotland.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • •Chartered Engineer (MICE and/or MIStructE).
  • •Significant experience delivering reinforced concrete and structural steelwork structural design in the water sector or other highly regulated infrastructure sectors.
  • •Significant, broad-ranging structural design experience.
  • •Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing technical delivery, with clear communication to clients and stakeholders.
