Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and file U.S. trademark applications, statements of use, renewals, assignments, and extensions of time with the USPTO.
  • •Coordinate international filings, prosecution, renewals, and declarations of use with foreign associates.
  • •Conduct preliminary trademark clearance searches and summarize results for attorney review.
  • •Maintain trademark records in WebTMS, monitor dockets and deadlines, and ensure timely filings.
  • •Monitor potential infringements, assist with takedowns/enforcement actions, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of trademark paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
  • •Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • •Understanding of USPTO procedures and the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS).
  • •Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; excellent written and verbal communication.
