Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the Vietnam-based SRE team within Yum! Brands’ East region, owning day-to-day delivery and operational discipline.
  • •Operate a follow-the-sun, shift-based coverage model with reliable handoffs between US and India shifts.
  • •Ensure incident response rigor, shift discipline, and dependable reliability operations for global restaurant technology.
  • •Develop and grow Level 6–7 engineers into strong independent contributors, supporting promotions and level progression.
  • •Guide automation-first reliability practices using observability, incident response processes, and infrastructure as code.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or production operations roles.
  • •1+ years of people management experience (or 2+ years as a senior technical lead with coaching and delivery ownership).
  • •Hands-on credibility across incident response, observability, and automation, with technical depth to guide Level 6–7 engineers.
  • •Experience operating in shift-based, on-call, or follow-the-sun coverage models.
  • •Working knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred) and modern observability tooling (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
