Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely collect samples for testing.
  • •Set up, operate, and maintain nuclear density gauges for asphalt and soils compaction.
  • •Perform sampling, testing, and reporting procedures according to established protocol and required procedures.
  • •Prepare daily test records and reports; submit results to project lead technician or main lab supervisor and promptly report non-compliant tests.
  • •Perform asphalt coring operations as necessary and maintain daily housekeeping to keep a clean lab environment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • •1–2 years prior QC experience preferred.
  • •Knowledge of state DOT and governing agency job specifications.

  • •Must have a current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
