Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop work package descriptions, including deliverables, milestones, interdependencies, schedule/estimates, resources, and risk/opportunity register baseline.
  • •Establish work package launch plans aligned with the project master schedule, defining cost structure, resource profiles, supplier selection, and monitoring metrics.
  • •Execute the work package to achieve objectives, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery and addressing issues, risks, and opportunities.
  • •Monitor, control, and report progress by consolidating deliverables, updating schedule/risk registers/ETC/EAC, leading progress meetings, and reporting status to stakeholders.
  • •Lead stakeholder relations, manage suppliers/subcontractors, oversee change management (impact assessment and contract variations), and perform lessons-learned capture and closure review.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
  • •Project Management qualification and/or certification (PMBOK preferred).
  • •Previous experience delivering software-centric mission-critical or high-availability IT systems in a safety-critical environment.
  • •Understanding of Earned Value Management and Work Package Control/reporting, with exposure to scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).
  • •Financial/budgetary management of engineering work packages or tasks, plus advanced reporting and stakeholder management skills.
