Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive new Lakebase revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities within a defined territory in partnership with regional account teams.
  • •Lead outcome-based selling for platform, developer, data team, and central IT personas by articulating how Lakebase improves speed, governance, and cost efficiency.
  • •Run complex multi-threaded sales cycles from discovery and value hypothesis through commercial negotiation and close across executive and technical stakeholders.
  • •Orchestrate proof-of-value and POCs validating Lakebase benefits for OLTP-style workloads, reverse ETL, and AI/ML-driven applications with solution architects and specialists.
  • •Partner cross-functionally to shape territory plans and co-selling motions with ISVs and GSIs, and enable the field with best practices and success stories.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, consistently exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • •Proven success selling data platforms, operational databases (Postgres, MySQL, cloud-native DBaaS), or adjacent data/AI infrastructure to technical and business leaders.
  • •Strong understanding of modern data and application architectures, including cloud-native services, microservices, and event-driven systems.
  • •Ability to sell to both technical stakeholders (developers, architects, data engineers) and business stakeholders (product and operations leaders).
  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
