Key Responsibilities

  • •Work closely with portfolio directors, program managers, chief engineers, business/estimating, and supply chain to manage successful contract execution.
  • •Provide guidance to senior management on contractual and business issues, rights and obligations, and risk mitigation.
  • •Lead analysis of RFPs, proposal development and reviews, contract negotiations, and administration through execution and closeout.
  • •Review and analyze Estimates at Completion (EAC) to ensure accurate project forecasting.
  • •Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and develop intellectual property and contracting strategies to drive innovation and growth.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • •Experience with one or more of: Contracts Administration/Management, Program Management, Finance, Subcontracts, or Supply Chain.
  • •Strong experience in risk assessment and negotiations, with the ability to provide contractual and business guidance to program management leadership.
  • •Contractual acumen with knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • •Experience in management of complex contracts, including proposal preparation and/or contract negotiation in a fast-paced competitive environment.
