Job Summary

Lead the design, development, and operation of Red Hat’s AI-enabled OpenShift platforms across hybrid cloud, focusing on scalable SRE practices, automation, and customer self-service. Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and operate large-scale infrastructure and platform services across public cloud, private cloud, and data centers.
•Automate cloud infrastructure using scripting (Bash, Python, Go), implement monitoring and alerting solutions (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
•Lead development of software such as Kubernetes operators, webhooks, and CLI tools, and ensure production environments follow established procedures and best practices.
•Lead escalation for high-severity events and provide feedback to product engineering teams to improve reliability and features.
•Mentor peers, share knowledge, participate in on-call rotations, and drive blameless postmortems while improving SRE methodologies.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of cloud provider experience (Google, Azure, AWS, OpenStack, etc.)
•4+ years administering a Kubernetes-based production environment
•5+ years of experience with enterprise monitoring systems
•5+ years of experience with enterprise configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
•5+ years of experience programming in an object-oriented language (Golang or Python preferred)
