Job Summary

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical pre-sales relationship with prospects and customers, collaborating with Account Executives to demonstrate algolia solutions and assess fit.
•Understand customer goals and articulate how Algolia’s solution addresses those needs.
•Assist in the sales process including technical discovery, demos, PoC, and RFP responses.
•Leverage Algolia ecosystem tools, frameworks, and partners to validate technical and functional fit.
•Advocate for customer interests and provide product feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 149,500 - 193,500 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant, PM), ideally in the SaaS space
•Front End: JavaScript, TypeScript, React
•Back End: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C
•Experience with data formats and data transformation
•Great oral and written communication skills
