Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete repetitive/sequential production assignments and keep work areas clean and free of debris.
  • •Use safety gear at all times, follow safety regulations, and report unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately.
  • •Clean machinery/conveyors, pick up reusable scrap for salvage, and transport trash/debris away from production areas.
  • •As trained, assist lead operator/supervisor with shift production preparation and become knowledgeable of the machine mechanics and operations.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading trucks, packaging/labeling products, completing shipping/receiving documents, verifying loads, and maintaining/counting product inventory.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
  • •Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and follow production and safety procedures.
  • •Able to pass internal certification/training and follow internal lockout/tagout procedures.
  • •Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add/subtract two-digit numbers; multiply/divide 10s and 100s) and work with simple written/oral instructions.
  • •Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. and maintain good regular attendance, with frequent standing for extended periods.
