Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with the company’s financial closing process for general ledger accounts, including balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.
  • •Conduct general ledger activity such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • •Assist with financial statement preparation and submission to the parent company while maintaining accuracy and internal controls.
  • •Maintain/update the portfolio asset database and use results to create reporting structures.
  • •Manage third-party providers for accounting activities, dealer funding coordination, payoffs, commission payouts, and support tax, audits, and state reporting requests.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • •5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • •Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • •Strong cost center and balance sheet analysis, including financial statement flux analysis.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CPA is highly desirable; auto industry, finance company, and public accounting experience are pluses.
