Key Responsibilities

•Lead coverage of inbound client relationships of German multi-nationals and manage an independent portfolio.
•Manage and control portfolio aspects to maximize customer value and identify alignment opportunities with other product groups.
•Originate, structure, and execute transactions for clients/new-to-bank clients; run and oversee the credit process end to end.
•Monitor portfolios holistically across KYC, transactional accounts, negative news, and debt performance to identify and mitigate credit and operational issues; act as First Line of Defence for financial crime risk.
•Increase portfolio income contribution and market share by originating new business, maximizing client wallet share, expanding cross-introduction of HSBC products, and defending existing business.

Key Requirements

•Fluency and proficiency in German (writing/speaking) for client communication.
•Degree in Finance, Business, or Accountancy.
•Relevant experience in front-line business development roles in corporate banking handling German corporates.
•Strong credit and business development skills to grow portfolios, acquire new clients, identify opportunities, and convert them into business.
•Solid knowledge of Capital Markets, Global Markets, Cash Management, and Trade Services products, including experience marketing these products.
