Job Summary

Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of Commonwealth-provided Government Furnished Material (GFM) and related items across the Hunter Class Frigate Program. Serve as the key interface between the Commonwealth of Australia, industry partners, and internal stakeholders, ensuring GFM is identified, tracked, governed, and delivered to program schedules and integration requirements. Drive governance, reporting, and risk visibility; resolve issues to enable seamless program execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive planning, coordination, and delivery of GFM-related program dependencies across information, data, equipment, facilities, and services.
•Act as key interface between the Commonwealth of Australia, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
•Develop and maintain governance, reporting, and performance metrics for visibility of GFM status and delivery risks.
•Proactively identify, prioritise, and resolve issues to ensure seamless integration and rapid decision-making.
•Lead complex stakeholder engagement and manage contracts/commercial arrangements while balancing risk, accountability, and long-term relationships.

Key Requirements

•Exceptional stakeholder and communication skills to influence and align diverse audiences.
•Proven ability to independently identify issues and drive them to resolution.
•Strong grounding in project management principles with practical application.
•Commercial experience/exposure to contracts and commercial management.
•Defence security clearance (NV1) or eligibility to obtain the required clearance.
