Job Summary

Lead daily operations at an aggregate plant, overseeing production and material loadout. You’ll manage and communicate with the Plant or Area Manager on personnel, safety, maintenance, production efficiency, and product quality. The role requires strict OSHA/MSHA compliance, daily safety checks and inspections, accurate reporting and production documentation, coordination of maintenance work orders, and leading daily employee meetings and safety/HR training as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and communicate with the Plant Manager or Area Manager on personnel, safety, maintenance, production efficiency, product quality, and current/upcoming projects.
•Follow OSHA/MSHA and company policies (safety, quality, HR, CRH Life Saving standards) and conduct daily safety checks, inspections, and required reporting.
•Operate equipment and perform tasks per job/environmental standards; document time, material use, and production.
•Communicate maintenance needs, complete work orders promptly, and perform routine maintenance (cleaning, repairs, welding).
•Lead employee meetings (including daily T-5 meetings), address safety concerns, and conduct HR and safety training as needed.

Key Requirements

•Minimum or high school diploma or GED preferred.
•1–3 years of related experience required; 3–5 years aggregate-related experience preferred.
•Must obtain and maintain DOT certifications required to sample aggregates as required by state regulations.
•Must be 18 years or older.
•Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
