  • •Manage an engineering team of optical engineers across multiple programs.
  • •Lead and/or develop complex system projects, including design reviews and approval of complex module/sub-module designs and qualification results.
  • •Define meaningful experiments and data requirements to support evaluation and technical decision-making.
  • •Troubleshoot complex physics-related system issues in the lab and field, including setting system specifications, schedules, and requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •20+ years of optical design engineering experience in the semiconductor industry, including 8+ years leading engineering teams.
  • •Experience leading the design cycle from specification development through supplier support, part verification, and integration.
  • •Expertise in developing optical systems and supporting system alignment procedures and tooling development.
  • •In-depth knowledge to define subsystem/module/component requirements, alignment strategies, error budgets, and validation plans for system alpha testing.
