Key Responsibilities

  • •Own electrical design work in Value Engineering (VE) and Component Engineering (CE) within a global team, with responsibility for design delivery.
  • •Develop hardware from schematic creation through detailed design, component selection, and verification testing, using test results to guide outcomes.
  • •Translate product requirements into CTQs for design and develop technical expertise in product lines to support VE/CE ideas.
  • •Interface with cross-functional teams (mechanical, manufacturing process, simulation, drafting, ECAD, evaluation, marketing, supply chain, external test labs) to meet technical objectives.
  • •Generate technical reports, documentation, and progress updates, and support technical risk management during planning/execution phases.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
  • •6+ years developing electrical/hardware design for field instruments such as industrial pressure/temperature transmitters, gas detection, flame detectors, flow sensors, and thermal sensors.
  • •Hands-on experience with serial communication protocols such as MODBUS and PROFIBUS, plus UART, SPI, and I2C.
  • •Analog/digital electronics design including sensor/instrumentation and signal conditioning electronics.
  • •Knowledge of microcontroller interfacing, ADC conversion, opamps/transistors/MOSFETs, regulators, and designing 4-20mA current output circuits; also EMI/EMC and PCB schematics/layout exposure (ORCAD/Mentor Graphics).
