Key Responsibilities

  • •Measure, analyze, and debug workloads on OEM notebook/laptop systems for internal analysis and external communications.
  • •Measure and analyze SoC/CPU and platform power on a rail-by-rail basis, debugging any issues or gaps.
  • •Set up instrumented OEM systems to measure power and performance, including setup, calibration, and measurements.
  • •Collaborate with internal engineering teams to understand gaps between Intel silicon/SoC data and OEM implementations.
  • •Align on competitive power/performance analysis, support competitive projections, and guide internal stakeholders on Intel product positioning.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
  • •Understanding of power measurement/instrumentation methodologies and concepts.
  • •1 year of basic soldering experience.
  • •Experience instrumenting and measuring actual devices/systems (e.g., phones, tablets, or laptops).
  • •Knowledge of CPU micro-architecture (x86 or ARM) and ability to analyze power/performance using standard benchmarks.
