Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver quality nursing care with a multi-professional team in line with scope of practice.
  • •Lead and coordinate nursing teams to enable optimal patient care.
  • •Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
  • •Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions and create a learning environment that builds staff competence.
  • •Ensure all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse OR a 4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing.
  • •Basic life support trained (ACLS, ATLS, PALS training for specialised wards).
  • •Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
  • •Ability to develop and modify nursing care plans and perform patient assessments.
  • •Knowledge of infection prevention and control, pharmacology, nursing record keeping, and relevant nursing legislation.
