Key Responsibilities

•Provide comprehensive orthopedic care, including diagnosis, pre- and post-operative care, and orthopedic procedures within area of competence.
•Deliver outpatient orthopedic services in the OPD and provide consultation services to physicians and other surgeons/specialists as needed.
•Assume after-hours responsibility for admitted orthopedic cases and conduct daily rounds for hospitalized patients.
•Refer/consult with specialists for cases beyond personal skill or experience.
•Maintain accurate case records, participate in in-service activities, and ensure standards aligned with departmental bylaws and Joint Commission accreditation.

Key Requirements

•Graduation from an approved medical school plus internship and residency, with certification by the American Board of Orthopedic Medicine or the Royal College of Orthopedicians (or equivalent).
•At least five (5) years of orthopedic practice since certification, with two (2) or more years as a licensed specialist.
•Excellent command of oral and written English; knowledge of Arabic is desirable but not essential.
•Highly skilled in orthopedic practice with mature clinical judgment, professional leadership ability, and adherence to medical organization bylaws and confidentiality obligations.
•Current licensure in country of origin and a DHA license to practice as an orthopedic specialist in Dubai, UAE.
