Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and pre-create workspaces with commonly used tools to accelerate customer onboarding.
  • •Map users to pre-created workspace configurations through a modernized intake process to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • •Implement automated provisioning to grant core CDW access to authorized users, including NDS-approval workflows.
  • •Configure PreProd and Production workspaces (service principals, personas, identity configurations, access controls) and set up secure Databricks connections to the VHA Data Lake.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate provisioning into automated intake/review processes, document architectural patterns for customers, and troubleshoot access/data pipeline/workspace setup issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 165,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience in information technology or a related field (or commensurate experience).
  • •Must have a Computing Environment (CE) certification (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Linux).
  • •Demonstrated understanding of DOD Security, RMF, and/or NIST policies.
  • •Strong networking protocol knowledge (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, VPN).
  • •Proficiency in automation tools and scripting (Python, Terraform, Ansible) and experience with cloud/virtual servers and applications.
