Key Responsibilities

  • •Own operating plan, long-range plan, rolling forecast, and the integrated financial model; translate strategy into targets, milestones, and scenario modeling.
  • •Serve as a strategic partner to founders and executive leadership, bringing financial rigor to key decisions on hiring, pricing, compensation, investment, and resource allocation.
  • •Develop and own the financial narrative and materials for Board meetings, investor updates, fundraising, and company planning.
  • •Build the finance operating system: trusted reporting for key KPIs, operating cadences, and improved reporting via better systems, automation, and data integration.
  • •Oversee accounting and financial operations (close, reporting, revenue recognition, payroll, commissions, tax, treasury, billing, collections, cash management) and lead/recruit the finance team.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience across strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
  • •Finance leadership experience in a high-growth, venture-backed B2B SaaS/AI/fintech/enterprise software environment.
  • •Proven ownership of planning, forecasting, financial modeling, cash management, and Board reporting.
  • •Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, gross margin, GRR, NRR, CAC, payback, sales productivity, burn, runway).
  • •Strong accounting fluency across financial reporting, revenue recognition, tax, audits, and controls.
