Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess risk at a technical or system process level by evaluating systems for compliance against defined security control frameworks.
  • •Draft risk assessments and reports with security issues, governance/control improvement recommendations, and ways to address identified risks.
  • •Categorise threats, threat actors, and vulnerabilities through completion of security threat and risk assessments for ICT and/or OT systems.
  • •Develop security policies, procedures, and plans to ensure effective governance and review control effectiveness to propose proportionate improvements.
  • •Support customers through interviews/investigations (including on-site visits and stakeholder workshops) and help them manage cyber security risk.

Key Requirements

  • •Active PV clearance (candidates with NV2 clearance with OSA may also be considered).
  • •Experience performing technical or process-level security risk assessments against defined security control frameworks.
  • •Ability to draft high-quality risk assessments/reports and communicate risk clearly verbally and in writing to stakeholders.
  • •Knowledge of information security standards and frameworks (including Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and ISO 27001; familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
  • •Ideally hold relevant industry certifications (CRISC, CISM, and/or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) or be on track to achieve them.
